There is no better way for a city, school or business to bring the community together then a good old-fashioned Snow Day event.  We will take care of all the details from start to finish.

What we can do for you

We will come out and build the snow play area out of bails of straw and then blow 15-30 tons of snow inside the arena. We will customize the area according to age level and client’s goals. Some will want just a fun play area for young kids to build snowmen and others will want an extreme snow sledding course for older kids. Typically, we will build a combination of both so older kids can sled and younger can have separate area for snow angels and building snowmen. For the real extreme renters, we have built six-foot-high wood sledding ramps for maximum speed!

Elite now helps organize and build more than 20 Snow Play areas for cities around Southern California. Some cities just want a small snow area to go along with their regular event and others want a huge Winter Wonderland Festival that includes Snow Play Area, Stage with local youth groups and dance groups doing Christmas songs, Food Trucks, Craft Area for kids, Snow flake machines in the street, characters like Olaf and Frosty, Reindeer and of course a Santa’s Village where kids can meet Santa and take photos. How We Do It

What is the process of building a Snow Area or Winter Wonderland?
  • Have meeting and walkthrough with Elite manager to evaluate property
  • Discuss how big of a Snow Area you want and whether you want sledding hills or just snow play area. Figure out target market and how you want the area structured
  • Figure out Budget since the snow is charged on a per ton basis. Cost extra for sledding ramps, life-size snowman, snow flake machines and extra amenities.
  • Who will run snow area? It takes about 10 people to attend a snow play area properly. You can use your workers or volunteers or hire Elite to run the entire area.

Who are your current clients?

Elite Special Events does Snow Play areas mainly for cities, schools and churches. On occasion we will do a house party but typically there is not enough space. Snow Days work great for Cities, Churches and schools because they have plenty of volunteers to help run the Snow Areas. Currently Elite does Snow Events for many cities in Orange County and Los Angles such as  City of Anaheim, City of Hawthorne, City of Carson, City of Bell, City of San Bernardino, City of Wilmington and city of Riverside.  We also do events for malls such as Norwalk Town Square, Anaheim Marketplace, Rodium Swap meet and Anaheim Town Center. We also provide snow play areas for a number of private Clubs like Hillcrest Country Club and a Rolling Hills Country Club.
